Wait, understand the purpose first.
The THEME of the year is not about predicting what the year holds for you.
The year hold nothing for no one. The 2019 is not God and God don't use your calendar.
God doesn't do new year, he lives in eternity.
The Theme of the year is not about what God will do for you in the coming year. There's nothing God want to do for you that he hasn't already done through Christ.
So you have to understand that there's a difference between:
A MINISTRY THEME OF THE YEAR and
A PERSONAL GOAL OF THE YEAR.
A Ministry Theme of the year is about God's direction for a particular ministry and those in it for that year. A direction the lords what to unveil for himself that year for that specific congregation these theme does not stop you for building your own personal theme for that same year. It's about how we are to flow with the spirit of God in taking the gospel out.
A personal theme(goal) of the year: these are suppose to be a personal direction, one has to set for themselves within the year range. For instance
My 2019 goal is to inspire my world through readerstales BLOG with the help of God.
Yours could can be to startup a business
Someone else's can be to get married
Another person's can start a building project
Yet another's goal can be to publish a book
All those are your individual theme or Goals for that year, according to how the lord has enabled you.
Because in the new year you can also focus on certain things and work towards accomplishing them personally.
The above instances can't be corporate they are individual pursuit.
So you don't need a general theme for the year for that it a personal pursuit so it can't be same for us all.
Now let me get these straight are you telling me I should not work with my ministry theme?
No! I never said that instead your ministry theme should be your cover for your personal theme if your ministry decided to tag the year our year of surplus then what ever theme you are given through the spirt there should be a mindset that the lord is working in the direction of surplus so impossibility is not an option in achieving your personal theme.
So let these your ministry theme build confidence in springing out your personal pursuit for that year
Just don't rely on your ministry theme,
Take Action on them personalize it, think over it, build over it.
Take a step and carve out your personal theme and run with it within the year.
You're the one to receive that for yourself In the place of prayer and planning.
So remember no one can motivate you expect u do
No one can inspire you expect you do
