I want to quickly share this here should you need to make same decision before we start proper. In less than 12 hours after my first post. I got a mail from someone in a distant country that reads...... " Sir, I'm actually about starting up a serious relationship with someone without relevant knowledge in that regards. Then I saw your post about RELATIONSHIP GOALS how that you're starting up the series today. I decided to check it out and now I see a great need to pause and follow this series closely before making any further decision in that regards. Thanks for coming into my life....( L.M from Florida) Waooooooo What a mighty God we serve! read PART 1A and don't forget to share so we can grow constructively as we go even deeper today. Let's journey through Genesis 1 & 2. Because the book of Genesis is the first place where RELATIONSHIP was mentioned though I won't be dwelling there. That's a subject for another day. But before there was ever anything RELATIONSHIP was already established. In Gen 1: 27.... So God created human beings, making them to be like himself. He created them male and female. The Father ,Son and HolySpirit. Three equal personalities in one person came together and said let us make made man,.......... They were already having a conversation, there's already been a connection, an Agreement, an interaction, a fellowship which connotes RELATIONSHIP. From study especially on the account of the CREATION.I discovered that After God created everything from Genesis 1 until verse 18 of chapter 2. He has looked at them all and said it's Good. But for the first time to my Amazement after creating man whio is now like Him wired to operate and function as Him. He then looked at man and said IT IS NOT GOOD........ Kaiiii 18 Then the LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to live alone. I will make a suitable companion to help him." How come God by Himself came to a point where he knew "it's not good "; Unless that He knew something about us that, we don't even know about ourselves. The reality is that nobody would have known it God hadn't said it. Because Him alone knows the end from the beginning. Nobody would have known. Why will a mighty God to this point of saying it's not good. As I ponder on this things I was lighted! NOTE 1. God desires a relationship for you. Many people wants to just be alone because of past failed relationships. Often times I hear people tell me.....Pastor maybe God doesn't want me to have any relationship and all that. Many of us don't want to have anything doing with anybody, Spiritually existing from the corner of their room. Oh that's not God's plan towards you. God wants a relationship with you and Created you to be in a relationship with others. I know you want to be on your own, I know you want to stay indoors cus of past broken relationships. You don't want to talk with anybody any more. ......But God said it's not good to exist alone, it's not good to set up a life that is guarded, gated and isolated by yourself because that's where the enemy comes and attack your mind. When you're isolated in your thoughts in depression, isolated in your relationship, isolated in your dealings. That's when the enemy becomes your best friend and begin to give you wrong information about who you're, which is not who God has created you to be. He will begin to suggest to you that you CAN'T when you really CAN. PLEASE UNDERSTAND that the native language of the Devil is LIE. So if you ever hear anything that goes against the word of God ,just know that it's a LIE. That's why God really wants you to be in a relationship. So you can access help when you're weak. Understand that we're God's provision for one another don't die in isolation. I need you to understand because it's very key, that God wants a relationship for you. God wants you to have a best friend even though the other one left you at a cross road. God wants you to have people in your life that can guide you and lead you, I know the last person you allowed into your life messed you up and didn't appreciate you. Friends, God wants you to be in a marriage that works, one that us surrounded by love, honesty, respect and fun. So however messed up your life has been. God is saying to someone under the influence of this teaching .......if you can allow me.. I will work it out for you and it will be to your favour. Read Ecc 4:9-12 Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 New International Version (NIV) 9 Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: 10 If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. 11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? 12 Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken. My Question is... Who are you linked up with? Because when you find those people you will be better. They will help you succeed. NOTE: You can Tell if a relationship is from God by it's qualification. Does that relationship help you? You can tell it those folks you're messing with are suppose to be in your life. We tend to tolerate relationships that are taking us no where, relationships that takes away our peace of mind, relationships that ravages our joy by trying to make them work out. A relationship is killing you slowly, you're not any better and you're keeping it and looking like an HIV positive patient? And you're crying that the guy wants to BREAK UP with you? Common BREAK UP and start a new journey in understanding and repent from ignorance. This set of people will continue to keep you bound. So what God wants for us, is to be in a relationship that is helping us to become a better version of ourselves. God desire that your succeed at relationship.
