GOD'S WORD, MY LENGTH OF DAYS

"My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:"
- Proverbs 3:1
Every good father desires that his children prosper and succeed. The success of every child is the joy of the Father. As a child of God, God's desire for you is that you prosper in every thing you do, and in all, you be in health, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth." (3 John 1:2). I will like you to know that your well being and success matters a lot to God, it's His priority. His desire is not that you fall sick either, because being sick as a child of God doesn't speak well of God as the Father. Now, say this, "I am a child of God, I live in health, I walk in prosperity as my Father wishes." Glory to God!
Moreover, God does not only wish that you prosper, but will do everything possible to help you prosper, He delights to be part of your success story, for your success is His success. However, His prosperity help for you is to give you His law of prosperity, which is His Word. According to our theme verse, God wants you to know His Word, and keep His Word in your heart, never to forget it. This is because, prosperity is in His Word. The more you meditate on the Word of God, the more you add to your length of days on earth,
"For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee."
- Proverbs 3:2
Take note that it didn't say, His Word will give you length of days, it said His Word shall add to you length of days. It means, you will live beyond the number of years you were supposed to live on earth. It means, the more you meditate and follow God's Word, the more your length of days increase, that is, you choose when to leave the earth. Yes! You choose when to live the earth because you cannot die as a believer, you can only sleep, for the life in you is everlasting. God's Word will not only add days to you, but peace in the days you live on earth. It means, anything that will trouble your peace will not be your experience. No wonder you will always be in health, for sickness does not demonstrate peace. Say after me, "I don't have an ill health experience, and I won't start having it now." Hallelujah!
God's Word gives life, and it came through Jesus, therefore, it is Jesus in character. It is the law of Christ. It says, believe in Him, love your neighbor, as well as your enemies, pray for them, preach the Gospel. You don't need to forget these commandments, but keep them in heart, and your length of days can never be short, "And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?" (1 Peter 3:13). Nevertheless, remember that the Holy Spirit lives in you, He shall guide and teach you all things, as well as keep you in remembrance of God's Word for your prosperity. Glory to God!
PRAYER
Dear Father in Heaven, thank you for wishing me prosperity and health, and thank you for giving me your Word. I receive your empowerment to keep your Word. And I declare that I have good length of days and peace, in Jesus name. Amen!
